Associates
Associate work with business and community based agencies to secured advertisement. Associate also participate in community development by making connections and promoting community based events.
Students / Interns
Gullatown is always looking for student and interns who would like to contribute thier time to development of the publication. Volunteers have opportunities to do special stories or profile a person of thier choice.
Writers and editors
As the publication grows, Gullatown will have the need for writers and editors. Those with such expertise are invited to contact us to discuss future opportunities and ways to develop independent contracting vehicles.
Personal Care Assistant
Personal care assistants work in private homes to help clients with common tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and using toilet facilities, as well as dressing, cooking, and house cleaning. Our personal care assistants provides services to senior citizens and the disabled.
This position can be emotionally and physically demanding. Assistants must sometimes move and lift patients or work with those who have communicable illnesses. In addition, they are sometimes hired to care for individuals who suffer from mental health impairments.
Requirements
Education Level: No degree is required, though short-term training is necessary
Experience: Compassion, physical endurance, punctuality, people skills, time management skills.
Additional Requirements
Criminal background check, drug screening, valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance
All Personal care assistant will undergo training and must comply with state regulation.
